Our tithes (from the biblical word meaning “tenth”) are what we do to support the regular ministries of the church. We are asking each person to consider committing themselves to this kind of faithful giving. We would encourage you to take God at His Word when He says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse…and test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you a blessing until it overflows.” (Malachi 3:10).

The Bible also speaks of “offerings.” Our church has the privilege of having five special ministries: Vision of Hope, Faith Community Ministries, Faith Bible Seminary, Faith Christian School, and Faith Global Ministries. We are thankful God has entrusted these ministries to us even if they do require special support.

We ask each person in our church family to consider, beyond their regular tithing, to help the church meet our financial obligations to these five special ministries by committing to give a special offering to one or more of these ministries each month. While each person’s situation will be different, we are asking the average person or family in our church to consider giving approximately $100 per month beyond your regular tithing to help insure that we can fund our special ministries well.
