Foundation Leadership
 

The following people serve in leadership positions within Faith Legacy Foundation. FLF Directors are elected to three year terms while the Executive Director is selected by the directors. Fund management for the foundation is handled through a Certified Financial Planner at Smith Barney, Lafayette. 

Bruce Hufford-President bhufford@purdue.edu

B.S. - Purdue University  

Bruce is the director of annual giving for Purdue University. For the past four years, he has held a position on the Trinity Mission advisory board.As a member of Faith Baptist Church, Bruce serves as a deacon and a member of the community center funding committee.

B.A. - University of Chicago 

Will Johnson and his wife Jeane have been members of Faith Baptist since the mid 70s. Will has served as a deacon for over 30 years. He served as Chairman of deacons for 12 years. He has also served in the Music ministry at Faith in various capacities, and has served as a counselor at Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries. Will works as a Senior Analyst/Engineer in Information Technology at Purdue University.

Pastor Steve Viars and his wife Kris have been part of Faith Ministries since 1987. In 1996, the church elected Steve Viars unanimously as the new senior pastor. Pastor Viars oversees the staff, the deacons, and all ministries of the church.

Greg and his wife Barb have been members of Faith Baptist Church since 2001 after moving to the area. Greg is a financial services professional and insurance agent with OneAmerica. Barb is a teacher at Faith Christian School. Greg has served on the deacon board since 2003 and was selected to be a member of the finance committee since 2004.

Arvid serves as the Director of Development for Faith Ministries. He has been associated with Faith Baptist Church since 1979. Previous to joining Faith's professional staff in 2003, Arvid worked in the fields of marketing, public relations, teaching and fund development. His wife, Edris is the Director of Counseling for Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries.
